What does Kamori mean? .. if you break it down into 2 words, “Ka” is defined as “A spiritual aspect of the individual, living within the body during life, and surviving the body after death.” and the word “Mori” which means “Forest” in Japanese .. so if you put the 2 together, we like to think “Kamori” means “Spirit of the Forest” .. But we just like the way it rolls off the tongue .. and this Japanese character also means “forest”.
We are located in the great Pacific Northwest in the Province of British Columbia (BC), Canada and we love to explore the area known as Cascadia which encompasses most of BC, and the states of Washington, Oregon, and California. Home to some of the world’s greatest rainforests, ocean vistas, and majestic mountains, this region is very sensitive to the devastating damage that climate change is having on the Earth.
Our mission is to encourage everyone to get out and enjoy this sacred land and to be your own champion, or as we like to call them, Kamori Warriors to fight against the damage that climate change is having on our beloved Earth.
